Language...

... slept a dog was sleeping

This phrase, unnoticed, I did not notice, and became apparent on the blog where it was clearly seen. The unusual language of it is quite unusual, and wondering I wondered what compulsion would compell me to its writing written as it is.

As only an amusement it but amuses me, a redundency, it repeats redundantly the word repeated. Confusing language could confuse and so amuse.

I'm afraid I don't have much to add to what's stated in the artical. It seems fairly accurate, as far as I can tell.

If you want my highly speculative prediction, I don't think the situation will improve. Despite the administrations policy regarding dollar value, the trade deficit will make the problem near insoluble.

I'm afraid I am not much familiar with the economics behind the 'say and do nothing' policy. A sudden drop in the value of the dollar would be a very severe economic problem, although not necessarily the total destruction of the nation's economy.

And if you are a citizen wondering else could be done, I would say that simple frugality is the best hope. This is a rich countr: reletively few people with plentiful natural resourses. If we can achieve a trade balance, there is little to hurt us economically.
